Befriending face to face with Mrs S, who loves embroidery and her small dog.

One Health Lewisham have contacted GoodGym for a Social Visit to offer companionship to Mrs S who would like someone to talk to.

Mrs S is bedridden. She is very chatty and likes to talk about family, television and enjoys embroidery.

Mrs S has a small dog and pet fish in the property and her sister may be present as well. She is also visited by cleaners and carers throughout the day.

Before signing up to this mission, please ensure you have completed the Social Visits Training and completed the Google form at the end of the document.

A home check has been completed for this home so you can enter the property if you feel comfortable doing so. The referrer has not visited the property themselves but has confirmed that the accommodation is clean and cleaners visit daily. Mrs S has been paired through a GoodGym coach pairing in the past and a home check was conducted prior to this. GoodGym volunteers have visited before.

Please remember that a home check does not guarantee the absence of all risk and you will still need to decide for yourself if it is safe for you to enter the home.

GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two volunteers. Two GoodGymers can go together, but the mission will still go ahead with one if only one person signs up by the deadline.
