Giving us opportunity to say our hellos, chat & feel connected before we spend some time working on our... erm, peaches?
WHILST GETTING FIT
And as runners sometimes our butts don't do as much work as they should do, especially if you're spending much of the day seated at a screen. This can cause our butt muscles to deteriorate, meaning that they don't 'fire' as effectively during running. This can then put strain on other muscle groups who less adept at pushing us forward than our booty, & eventually can lead to a number of common runners' niggles.
Let's nip this pattern in the bum... bud & get those glutes fired up! Ready?
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Zoom: You can set up a free account if you haven'y got one already & I'll send an email out with the invitation to join the call on Tuesday after 12pm. If you sign up after 12pm Tuesday, you might not get my email, so please contact me separately so I can send you the invite :) dani@goodgym.org
A weight: This can be an official weight such as a kettlebell or dumbbell or a make-shift weight: a full water bottle, a can of baked beans etc. Ps. using the weight is optional, but have one ready so you can make the workout harder if you need to!
Elevation for your feet: I use foam yoga blocks, but if you don't have these a couple of large recipe books (they need to be the same thickness), a rolled up yoga mat, a plank of wood etc. will all work. This is so in our bridge we can elevate the feet slightly. If you don't have anything suitable, don't fret, you can do it without too & will still get those butt gainzzz.
Please note: Expect my email with a Zoom invitation to join the call after 12pm Tuesday. We'll meet on Zoom from 6:10pm, ready to kick off the workout for 6:15pm.
