Brown Books
Brown Books is a second hand bookshop open for a year as part of a pilot project with Luton Literature CIC and Luton Community Arts Trust. As well as ebing a treasure trove of preloved books they run a number of literary events, storytelling sessions, book readings and signings, poetry events, book clubs and other children's activities. The space is intended to encourage a love of reading and creative writing at any age and to promote early take up of reading in young children.

Since community book shop Brown Books had to close because of flooding, all the books had to be packed away and the town lost it's only dedicated book shop. πŸ˜”

But Brown Books is coming back ☺️ to a unit in the shopping mall next week! First, all the friends of Brown Books need to come together and get the shop set up. All the books need to be transferred from their storage location into the new shop and all the shelving set up ready for opening next week.

This will involve moving all the books and stuff underneath the mall from their storage location into the new shop.
