Choo-choo! Build a big train set for children 🚅F-E-B-2-0-2-5

All Aboard Club CIC are looking for help setting up big train track for neurodiverse children to play with in a safe, welcoming environment. You can read more about the great work they do on their website. GoodGym have already been involved with All Aboard Club across various London boroughs and they are in an awesome new location, the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton!

✔️ What are we doing?

This is as fun a challenge for those constructing the track as for those who'll play with it. It'll take you right back to your childhood, on a much bigger scale with all of the track pieces that you once dreamed of having! We'll be working with All Aboard Club's own volunteers, so they'll guide us on what makes an engaging experience for the attendees.

We'll be:

1. 🚅 Building the train track before the children arrive
2. 🦺 Be able to help children and parents after the task, if you'd like to hang around

🕙 Meet at 10am, which will give us 1 hour to prepare the track and trains for the attendees

⚠️ Anything to be aware of?

Sign up for this task closes 8 days before the session. We have 3 places allocated to us by All Aboard Club, so please register if you're sure that you can make it. After the registration deadline, other GoodGymers won't be able to sign up if your availability changes.

This task does require GoodGymers to be able to kneel or sit at floor level and to bring a feeling of calm to the task, even though it is an exciting thing to do! 🧘
