Cleaning up Coppetts Wood

DIFFERENT MEETING POINT! We'll start this session at the Artsdepot in Tally Ho. Meet inside the foyer downstairs. This is just by North Finchley Bus Station, and a 1km jog from Woodside Park Tube.

Coppetts Wood Conservationists have asked us to help clean up two sites in the wood, one by the North Circular, the other by the entrance on Colney Hatch Lane.

We'll walk or run to the steps by the North Circular to start. After clearing up there, we'll run through the wood to the Colney Hatch entrance and clean up around there. Then we'll carry any rubbish bags up to the Hillside Avenue bus stop, and jog back along Woodhouse Road to the artsdepot.

If you're meeting us at the location, you should find bicycle parking in the giant Tesco nearby. Nearest bus stops are 134/43/234 on Colney Hatch Lane, or 232 on Pinkham Way.

With longer days and more daylight, we should be able to finish before it gets too dark, but bring a head torch in case. Afterwards, there's the option of a social in North Finchley.
