Arrive 8.40-ish, chat with the other volunteers, help out with the run, all done by 9.40-ish with a huge smile on your face. What could be better?

Register online if you don’t already have a parkrun “athlete” number and email the parkrun of your choice to volunteer. Simples.
There are lots of different roles but a LOT of marshals are needed for junior parkruns!
