Loads of distance options from 4 to 25k!
Location
Brixton underground stationLondon
SW9 8HE
Date and time
10:00 - 12:30September’s long run is a beauty; we’ll be taking in Europe’s longest high street, the remnants of the ’Great North Wood’ and a section of the Green Chain Walk, from Crystal Palace to Nunhead, before running back to Brixton for delicious food of many varieties at Pop Brixton. It’s going to be an absolute hoot.
The distances and start times of each leg are below so you can decide how many you do: e.g. Whole thing = 24.7k (15.4 miles)
Brixton to Crystal Palace = 10.7k (6.7 miles)
Crystal Palace to Brixton = 15k (8.7 miles)
You can do as short or as long as you like!
The route goes like this:⬇️⬇️⬇️
10am: Meet at Brixton Underground Station
👇LEG 1: Run 4.3k(2.7m) along Europe’s longest high street to…
10:30am MEET UP POINT: Streatham Station
👉LEG 2: Run 6.4k(4m) along a section of the Capital Ring and through parts of the ’Great North Wood’ to…

12:30pm MEET UP POINT (for those that just want to join for food, you are more than welcome): POP BRIXTON 🎉
⚠️WARNING⚠️ It’s not a very flat route. But in return for your uphill efforts, you’ll be rewarded with some cracking views. All the meet up points are fairly well connected so if you feel like ducking out early, that’s totally cool. 😎
Pace will be roughly 6-minute kilometres. If someone fancies leading a different pace, just let me know.
Either way, remember: no one gets left behind

Hi Mark,
I'd love to consider coming but my worry is will I be able to keep up... I don't want to hold anyone back. Were you on Simon's long run 25.08.19...I'm the one who bailed out at 22km at Stratford with Niamh. Your thoughts pleeaase?
Hey Nurjehan, I was on the run this weekend! It depends on numbers, but as long as there are enough people it won't be a problem if we split. A couple of the hills are pretty long and steep but as with this weekend, if you feel like you want to just do as much as you can, that's absolutely fine and you can jump on a train whenever!
I've made a mistake with the time, I'll see you at Crystal Palace
