Help shift road chippings to lay a new track at The Land Haxby CIC

This will improve the access to a dedicated green space for autistic children and young adults . Many struggle to leave the home due to high anxiety. This wild place can give them to space to relax and garden with their families.

We are creating a 12.5 acre nature reserve, planting hedges/trees, moving gravel. We run sessions for young people and their parents/carers, creating that first step back into the world. We work with neurodivergent young people that can’t access school and may otherwise be isolated at home, hot having a place they can go to or belong to. Www.theland.org.uk

We will shovel the road chips into wheel barrows. We will transport the chips further down the track and rake them over.

How are you getting there?

The Land is on your right down Towthorpe Road , as you leave the last house from Haxby direction. Enjoy a good cycle ride to get there!

Getting on a bit but trying to keep up the energy levels to work with children and young people! I much prefer cross country running
