Craft Coop has gained a reputation as a beautiful, award-winning shop full of unique, handcrafted products, but it's more than just the go to shop for a special gift. As a social enterprise business, Craft Coop gives over 200 local craftspeople the opportunity to trade in a High Street shop, provides business and social support, works with various charities and other organisations both in the shop and offsite, and helps bring vitality to Town Centres. Above all, Craft Coop is about Community.

The Craft Coop needs to move their shop fittings before the Nicholsons Centre is demolished. They have been offered storage space in the Town Hall until they find more permanent premises, but need help with moving. Lots of pairs of hands are needed to help load items into cars and unload at the other end, requiring carrying items up to the first floor. We may also transport some items on foot. You may find it useful to bring gloves. Please meet outside the South African Shop in Brock Lane
