This will bring the new venue to a standard whereby we can re-open our doors with confidence offering a safe and inclusive space to current participants but also the wider community.

Who this task will support
IMPACD C.I.C.
Our mission is to make our activities accessible to all, and we offer unique and free classes in dance, drumming, and other creative arts. We believe everyone should be able to participate, regardless of their age, ability, nationality, or experience. We welcome individuals with mental health issues, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals.

IMPACD CIC have moved in to new premises which is in a state of disrepair and is in need of a number of things attending to.

For this task, we may be helping with a number of things such as putting up shelves, sanding down metal shutters, laying plywood in preparation for a new floor. Lots of cleaning and organising too. Something for everyone!

There are also other jobs such as clearing an outdoor space, repairing an outside brick wall, sanding down external shutters and lots of internal and external painting. Although we may not get to these on Friday, we may be back for more!

Please note this is a Friday task - it is listed as 6pm to 7.30pm, but if you cannot arrive until 6.30pm that is fine. Please still sign up and comment below or post on the WhatsApp group to let us know your arrival time

On arrival, you will need to enter via the carpark of The Greenway Centre….. look for the white double doors behind the broken pink wall.
