The Read Easy Newcastle & North Tyneside team have organised a Spring Walk on Saturday 9 May. The aim of the walk is to raise awareness of our group and what we do, to engage with the community and hopefully meet potential readers and new volunteers.

Meet at 9:15 at Northern Stage with the walk starting at 9:30. We will be walking from Northern Stage in Newcastle near Haymarket with stops at the local libraries: Newcastle City Library, East End Library, Walker Library, Wallsend Library and finishing at North Shields Library.

It is a 9 mile walk, there will be public facilities at each stop and there will be water available along the route and at the end.

Anyone can join in for all or part of the walk, bring your friends and family! Alternatively, we’d love to see you at each of the stops along the route to cheer us on!

If you’d like to get involved, please sign up below!
