18:45 - 20:15Welcome to GoodGym Ealing!
We're a friendly running group who combines exercise with volunteering. We meet every week to combine exercise with a physical task to help the charities and community organisations in our borough.
The Task:
This week we are heading to St. Mary's Church to help in their community garden. There's always lots of important jobs to do here to help keep this community space beautiful for all the use. It's used as a cut through route and thus is sometimes a taken for granted so let's help the church make it a the best it can be for everyone!
The Run:
We meet at 6.45pm (please come ready to run, we have no bag storage at the moment!) and we always have a back-marker so no-one is left behind - we're about achieving something together so you'll always be welcome no matter what your pace is! If you any questions or you're worried about the task or run then just contact me.
This week is 3km, great for beginners, walkers and those returning from injury. For those after a bit more we have a longer route option as well and we'll finish with a great fitness session!
Meeting Point:
Please meet at the gate to Lammas Park opposite Beaconsfield Road (exact location here).
If you want to skip the run and just join for the task, please meet at the same location at 7:10pm instead.
Social:
We're a social bunch and we often head straight to the pub after the task, we'd love you to join us!
See you there!
