Pantries are just like a shop, giving you choice of a wide range of food including fresh fruit and veg, frozen and chilled food, long-life tinned and packaged food as well as cleaning- and hygiene products. Members pay a small subscription for a weekly shop and get up to five times the value in products!

The Kingston Pantry is a foodbank based in Tolworth Recreation Centre. It is trying to support families and individuals on low income in a time of rising costs. Every three months the Pantry needs a deep clean. The shop and store room need to be cleared, thoroughly cleaned and restocked. They do such valuable community work - can you help?

The Kingston Pantry want to give their clients the best experience which includes a very high environmental health status. Your help will free up their volunteers to run more sessions and serve more clients in the process.

The Recreation centre has a big waste collection area at the back of the building. The Pantry gets warm, so dress in layers. Don't forget to bring your head torch as it will be dark.

The task owner is Susan and her number is 07776083980.

We are meeting at The Lamb pub in Surbiton for a 2.5km run there and a 2.5km run back. If you need to meet us there the task is at Tolworth Recreation Centre, Fullers Way North, Tolworth, Surbiton, KT6 7LS and we will arrive at 7pm.

Don’t forget it’s our monthly social after the task and we’ll be going to The Antelope in surbiton for 8.30pm for food and drinks. See you there!
