Level Trust are hosting a schools fundraising event, finishing with a school staff functional fitness challenge at Chiltern Academy.
This is a town-wide event, bringing together school staff from across Luton to push themselves physically while raising funds for a much-needed local charity. The support provided by GoodGym will help ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible, giving school staff the best experience on the day. We also hope this event will inspire participants to try similar challenges with their own students, increasing physical activity opportunities for children and young people across the town.
The challenge will consist of a series of functional fitness activities, each followed by a short run around the sports hall.
Volunteers are needed to support the event in a variety of roles, including:
Marshalling staff members as they arrive
Supporting with participant sign-in
Marshalling event stations
Assisting with packing down equipment at the end of the event
Event time: 17:00 – 19:00 Pack down: 19:00 – 20:00
This is a great opportunity to support a local charity, help deliver an active community event, and be part of a positive, inclusive fitness challenge.
