Community Litter Pick & Tidy-Up

We’re teaming up to clean up an alleyway next to Colegrave Primary School with a litter pick and some light weeding 🌱🧹

This task is part of a brilliant parent-led initiative to reclaim a space used every day by school children, parents, local residents and workers. The alley has suffered from litter, fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour — and the local community is taking action.

A Colegrave Primary School parent has brought together the school, council, a local business and GoodGym Newham to make a real difference. Our role is to help get regular clean-ups off the ground and show the power of community action.

What we’ll do

• Litter pick the alleyway

• Tackle light weeding and overgrowth

• Help make the space cleaner, safer and more welcoming

It’s a simple task with a big impact — especially for the children who use this route every day.
