Who this task will support
Thames Hospice

This is a task you can complete at home throughout January, wherever your skills and imagination take you. The Thames Hospice are running their first ever Art Trail this summer, called Trunks Across the Thames. Large elephant sculptures, designed and decorated by local artists, schools and community groups will be appearing in parks and open spaces around the area. To support this, they would like people to make elephant-themed items that can be sold to raise funds. You could knit, crochet, sew, paint, use papercraft, clay, whatever you like! Ideas for things to make: soft toys, badges, key rings, bags, greetings cards, cushions, badges, jewellery. It could be one big thing or lots of small things, whatever you think might sell. Anything you can think of, as long as it is elephant-themed. Ideas can be shared in the GG crafters WhatsApp group - let Sheila know if you would like to join this group (or write in the comments below). Have fun! Please send any photos / stories / comments to Sheila for the report.
