Restoring Greenhill Allotments

Welcome to GoodGym Newcastle

We're a friendly and social group that combines exercise with helping out local charities and community groups. Every Monday evening we meet to get active and do a physical task to make a difference in the Newcastle area. The GoodGym motto is 'Do Good, Get Fit'. We also have other sessions, such as this one, at other times of the week. We meet at the location without running there on these other days and times.

This task on September 19th

Come and help with some general clearance, as well as removing some weeds and grass. Please bring your own gardening gloves if you have them, all other tools will be provided. This will be quite a physically challenging task. Please feel free to stay for any length of time, or arrive after the task has started (get in touch if doing that).

No facilities on site, nearest toilets are at Morrisons Cowgate. Free on street parking is available at the task.

Participating at GoodGym Newcastle

GoodGym is for absolutely everyone aged 18 and above. We welcome runners of all abilities, including absolute beginners or those returning from injury.
