The length of task is longer than usual so just drop in the comments a guestimate of what time you would be available (as much or as little as you wish - all offers of time gratefully received) so we can inform the organisers and they have an idea of how to allocate tasks.

Please see below the details of the Savera UK event, for the callout for volunteers from GoodGym. It was great having the GoodGym team support us last year, and we really appreciated the support, so hoping some volunteers can join us again for this event!
There will be refreshments for helpers and they will of course also be able to enjoy the performances!
Event summary: Savera UK is holding it’s annual March to End HBA, which will start from Williamson Square, onto Church Street, then travel up Bold Street to end at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church, where there will be a festival event “Culture at the Bombed Out Church”, with performances from a wide range of diverse artists. Date: Saturday 27th September Times: 12 - 4pm Event start: 12 noon (volunteers will need to arrive earlier for a briefing) Event schedule: 12 noon - 1pm - Savera UK “March to End HBA” led by Katumba 1pm - 1:30pm - Brief pause to view Savera UK exhibition inside the Bombed Out Church 1:30pm - 4pm - speeches, followed by performances, henna painting and storytelling workshops
Type of support needed: March stewards People to hand out leaflets while on the march (with information on the event at the Bombed Out Church) Litter picking support on march and at the Bombed out Church Venue stewards. Tasks will include: Headcount at storytelling sessions Directing performers to food tent Litter-picking Providing general advice to visitors about the event and activities happening Helping to store/put away placards at the venue after the march Looking after performer belongings while they perform
