Taking down Christmas decorations at a local church and community space

18:30 - 20:00Just before Christmas a GoodGym team visited a local church to spend a morning putting up loads of Christmas decorations to make it as inviting and festive for local people as possible. It involved weaving fairy lights through scaffolding and much more!
The effect was beautiful but with only two people looking after the space it is a big job to remove it all for another year. They have asked us to com down and give them a hand getting the place back to normal again!
This is a lovely inside task, which we will run one mile to at a social pace. There are back markets so nobody is ever left behind. We will also do a nice little fitness session to kick off the year! If you haven't tried GoodGym before, why not join us for our first run of 2026? There will be a chance to meet other new people, ask any questions and enjoy an evening of doing good and getting fit.

We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk.
