Well I have new found respect for delivery people!
It’s actually great discovering areas of the borough that I’ve never been to and it’s very satisfying to get them all out there.

Following on from the tricky start to delivering SATs probes two weeks ago, Eddie, 'Big little' and 'Little' Beth returned to continue delivering to the patients most in need for Central Camden PCN.
This time the team loaded up their backpacks and set out as one formidable trio. After the struggle with flat block mazes on the previous delivery run, the team were relieved to see that most of this week’s addresses appeared to be far easier to locate. They made a quick start following the route map around Regent Square Gardens, with Beth2 even benefitting from police assistance to gain access to one of the flat blocks.
Armed with a trusty clipboard, the address list and a map, ‘Little’ Beth determined that the delivery route could be optimised. She made light work of directing ‘Big Little’ Beth and Eddie to flat blocks whilst ticking off a number of deliveries herself – what a superhero!
It was a race against the light this evening, and time soon ran away with us – but not before a couple of cheeky extra deliveries on the way back to Bloomsbury Surgery. One of the last deliveries provided the most entertainment, as we faced an intercom which appeared not to be working… we soon realised though that the doorbell was still ringing, as a grumpy resident from the flat in question came out on the balcony three floors above our heads to shout at us for sending her doorbell crazy!
Combined with the efforts of a couple more volunteers from the practice, another 90 probes made it to their new owners this evening. Top work again everyone! 👏

With over 500 SATs probes packed up by the GoodGym team it was time to start delivering them to the patients who most needed them for Central Camden PCN.
Address labels were stuck onto the packages and a delivery route was mapped out for the evening. The 4 GoodGym'ers: Eddie, Katrin and 'Big little' and 'Little' Beth loaded up their backpacks and split into two groups.
Beth² set off in one direction and began working their way down the mapped out list of stops. It was a tricky start with one flat block seemingly a maze! Eventually the final flat was located and they could continue on their way to the next delivery stops.
Katrin and Eddie meanwhile were making quick work of their deliveries. They had set off in the opposite direction and were making their way up the mapped out list of stops - the grand plan was that both groups would eventually meet in the middle! However, they too got stopped in their tracks by a similarly tricky maze-like block of flats.
After 90 minutes and 72 deliveries (plus the bonus of lots of flights of stairs!) we all called it a night. Great work teams!
