Tonight this dynamic duo got busy in the Youth Centre car park. With litter pickers in hand they took on the mission clearing loads of rubbish which had gathered in the corners and bushes of the car park.
Litter picking is an awesome as you see the work you have down both physically (the full bags) and visually asyou can see the great work you've done. Its also a great way to have a good chin wag with fellow GG'ers..........
Until the next mission team 🙌🏻

It was our first night back at the Danson Youth Centre for 2024 and it was a cold one at that but this didn't stop us turning up with a strong GG team 🙌🏻
Our task was to weed and tidy up around the nearly refurbished skateboard bowl so thats exactly what we did. With tools in hand we made our way round the bowl picking, sweeping and best of all chatting.
As you can see for the photos our work spoke for itself.

Well last nights mission was the start of our festive season as we prepared the area at Danson Youth Centre for the return of the beautiful Reindeer.
Firstly we had to cut back a lot of bushes that were taking up the stall area, this also needed brushing out as the area had accumulated a lot of leaves which were wet and heavy. This didn't dampen our spirits though as we knew the joy to our local community when the the reindeer arrive would just be awesome.
Our next clear up was the grass area, we had to get loads of leaves cleared but with the wind being so strong it was a bit of a losing battle, having said this we clears 4 bags worth, we were pleased with that.
See you at the next mission team 🙌🏻

Fabulous evening at the Danson Youth Centre. The dreaded bush was back and covering the main pathway again. With croppers in hand it was time to reclaim the path and it took two of us the whole evening to get this job done.
I have to give credit to Caz for most the hard work, she got stuck in with no hesitation taking back the footpath from this bush gone rouge. We can say we certainly missed our fellow team mates on this mission 😅
With the darker evenings upon us time was not on our side and it was the first Goodgym after the summer where our head torches had to be dusted off.
Have the best week everyone and we hope to see you at the next mission 🙌🏻

Tonight four Bexley Goodgymers showed up at the youth centre to finish what we started. Tonights mish was to clear the path to the back playing fields and to remove a palm that could damage the newly refurbished skate and bmx park if not seen to.
I couldn't of been prouder of the team this evening, well done everyone we absolutely smashed it 🙌🏻

What a lovely evening to be back at The Danson Centre for a spot of good-deeding.
We chopped back bushes and brambles, deadheaded plants and picked up litter, leaving the car park and pathway looking neater and tidier. 🍂🍃🌿
It was fab having Jenna and Sayeef with us for their first ever GoodGym task.
Another job well done.
