Kitchen AND halls, not impossible

Monday 16th February

Written by Jade

Tonight, we took on a fresh challenge at a new location: Morden Park Baptist Church. We dived straight into the kitchen, emptying cupboards and scrubbing every inch. Our efficiency was so high that we even had time to tackle both halls, clearing away the cobwebs and giving every surface a thorough clean.

Seeing three spaces completely transformed in under an hour is incredibly rewarding - especially since we were down a few regulars and a small group.

A huge well done to the team and a massive welcome to Zahrah on her very first session. We hope to see you back for another mission very soon.

Mush-room to vacuum

Wednesday 4th February

Stopped by the monthly lunchtime Soup and Co to check in ahead of our upcoming group session and enjoyed a restorative bowl of mushroom soup ahead of a serious vacuuming marathon. The space was left spotless, and the to-do list collated for a return visit in a couple of weeks.

Soup-er Company

Wednesday 7th January

Written by Jade

A lovely lunchtime session today at Merton Park Baptist Church helping with the Souo and Company. After some great chats with the regulars over a bowl of tasty parsnip soup, it was time to get to work. Enlisting Henry the vacuum to clear the breadcrumbs and then finishing up the dishes it was a simple mission but a great way to break up the day.

Souper clean up

Wednesday 5th November 2025

Written by Jade

What a perfect way to break up the day! Stopping by for a lunchtime mission to help with the clean-up after the Soup and Company event at Morden Park Baptist Church.

After getting a chance to sample the delicious soup a must after delivering those massive pumpkins!

Making new friends chatting to guests, then it was time to grab Henry (the hoover), to diligently vacuum up all the crumbs and tidy the space.

This mission proves that even a quick lunchtime job can make a huge, positive difference to a vital community hub.
