One GoodGymer spent some time at TRAID sorting, sizing and hanging donated clothes, helping give pre-loved fashion a second life and keeping textiles out of landfill. There was something surprisingly therapeutic about turning bags of mixed donations into neat, organised displays ready for the shop floor. It was one of those tasks that felt both calming and satisfying, and if only it were this easy to keep my wardrobe at home in order!

Two GoodGymers suited up for a cracking session at TRAID, sorting and hanging clothes to help keep perfectly wearable items out of landfill. Danielle was clearly a cut above with her retail experience, hanging two or three items for every one Brenda managed, while also sharing a few tricks of the trade for keeping long dresses off the floor! Together they got through plenty of stock, proving that when GoodGymers hang out together, they really can make a difference, one hanger at a time!

A GoodGymer popped into TRAID’s buzzing central London charity shop to help sort and hang donated clothes, giving quality items a second life and helping keep usable clothing out of landfill. Every rail refreshed and garment hung supports TRAID’s work funding projects that empower the people who make our clothes, from organic cotton farmers to garment workers. A simple task with a big impact, and of course, it counts as a session too!

GoodGym Yorkie James was down in London for work. After a quick dash back to his hotel to change into his GGs, he came and met me at Traid on Westbourne Grove. The store receives deliveries on Mondays, then sorts through and hangs the stock up on Tuesdays. James and I caught up with the happenings in each other's lives and reminisced about how this task reminded us of the Acomb clothes swap, a regular task for GoodGym York. During our time at the store we managed to sort and hang up 9 enormous bags full of clothing. Some really cute stuff among them which I was severely tempted by! After we finished at Traid, we took a circuitous wander towards Paddington for a run and some drinks 🍻
