Catherine just completed a six month streak of doing missions. That’s so many bags of garden rubbish cleared and jobs done to help someone out and put a smile on their face. Give Catherine a cheer to encourage them to keep up the good work.

This afternoon we had four hands to help the Brixton Windmill team. During this session we were planting and clearing up, preparing for the Spring.
Catherine and Lucy had the task of planting some daffodils around the park.
Meanwhile, Hannah and I planted some snowdrops and crocus in front of a patch reserved for wildflowers.
After we were done we spent some time trimming back herbs and clearing the herb beds. We were given hot drinks and a small harvest of thyme, marjoram and mint for all our hard(?) work!

Three of us attended this mission. Conditions were pretty wet to start out with, but we meant business. The task at hand was to rake up after the wildflower patches had been mown. We made quite significant progress, creating mounds which can later be taken over to the compost heap. We had a fox show up at one point - pretty early for them!
Congrats to Tim, who with this mission completed his 200th deed. Impressive!
