Last night we were making 8 beds for the night shelter guests at the American International Church on Tottenham Court Road .

We had some minor issue dealing with a table collapse to get to the bedding but were able to get that sorted and get to all the pillows, duvets and sheets needed to make the beds for the guests and make an attempt at making bedding!

Huge congratulations to Alison on hitting your 300th Good Deed last night, a fantastic achievement!

Also congratulations to Caitlin for recently hitting 50 good deeds and earning your black t-shirt.

Great to welcome new member Narinder to your first Group Run!

We were so speedy we had a chance to leaflet properties on the way back to The Living Center. South of the Euston Road we distributed leaflets for Kentish Town veg box near their pick up point at The Story Garden.

We will be back at the American International Church on the 1st and 8th Feb!

IT RAINED!!!

Despite the rain we persevered, having arrived at the meeting point already wet theres know where to go from there so decided to get stuck in and do the best we could. We we're actually surprised at how quickly the session went!

First we started filling the raised planters outside the nursery, the beds had be relocated from the food growing space that we help revamp earlier this year. The TRA will then plant them up.

The compost also came from the Frieze Art Fair which we helped bag up a few weeks ago with a community mission in Regent's Park. The compost we didn't use we moved it so local residents can easily use it to mulch one of the beds they look after. We also had an encounter with a dead mouse!

To finish off we made very quick work of clearing a large area fallen leaves in the food growing space. We even did a bit of leaf identification before they went into the compost!

We are back here form Group Run next week helping to planting bulbs and trees check out the Camden listings.

Four soggy Goodgymmers helped KTCF set up for their Apple Day celebrations; moving tables and chairs and setting up marquees under the close supervision of goats, donkeys, sheep, and a cow.

The team met outside Papagayo cafe for a short warm-up. We welcomed Dominic to his first GG group run!

We set off to run to Abbey Community Centre. We were greeted by Lydia who led us around the box to the swanky new building! At the building were lots of boxes which needed to be stacked and tied together with string. I was right around the box, so that I could tie the string around it. The plan was for them to be taken for disposal the following day.

The team worked together and quickly completed the task. They posed for a final finish photo before beginning the run back to Papagayo for a quick beverage.
