Last night we were out on a litter pick where we tried to complete a bingo card of different drinks. Last week 60% of what we found were bottles so thought this would be fun.

Like last week we struggled to find any litter for the first 30 minutes of the session and not bottles at all. But then we walked some paths we hadn't been through before and found the jackpot!

Near the Winchester round about there was a set of steps we were able to fill 1 and a half bags of litter making a real difference through there.

We then continued back up Winchester Road while the "Just Run Local" run group when past us.

In the end we had 4 and a half bags of rubbish and didn't complete a line of the bingo but got a lot of threes.

Last night we weren't back out in Basignstoke with a spooky litter pick! Sammi brought the outfits and we all looked great if a little scary to meet in the dark.

It was a great start to the session with Tazmin bringing a delicious pumpkin pie which was my first time trying one. Definitely got the mood right!

We went out past Cranbourne School which was remarkably clean taking 45 minutes to fill our first bag. But when we crossed the Winchester Road roundabout and started heading up we got a lot more litter.

We worked our way back to the social club via Goodman Close playground finding in total 4 bags of litter!

There were some interesting things found, including one of the worst smells I've ever had the misfortune to smell. The weirdest thing we found was a toilet seat lid

We had another great sessions last night, the focus of the session was flyering for BVA's upcoming Pumpkin Train on the 29th of October. Miraculously we managed time time last nights session perfectly and avoid all rain and only get slightly chilled by the wind!

We split into two groups to hit as many houses as possible, with Yazid, Tazmin & Mohamed starting together and working at rocket speed always getting ahead of Daisy and myself.

I really enjoy this type of session as it gives a chance to chat as we go and we do have a greatgroup of people volunteering each week.

We managed to deliver all 400 of the flyers we were given, so I hope there is a great attendance for the event!

We had a great session last tonight with our monthly Walk together session in conjunction with Ramblers.

We had Kym & Daisy join us for their first sessions and they fit right in.

As usual we walked through Black Dam into Crabtree Plantation and while it was getting dark we were all in high spirits and it was great walking along and seeing everyone walking next to someone and chatting the whole time.

Our next Walk Together session is going to be the 18th of November and we have sessions every week between then and now.

We had a great session last night with Samantha back for her first session in a while! And Yazid providing his usual laughs while we collected 2 and a half bags of litter from central Basingstoke.
