Tonight we met at Heart and headed into Tiny Boo for a deep clean of the nursery space. There were 13 of us, so it didn't take long to clean the furniture, toys, carpet and climbing frame. Some of the group did the surfaces in the corridors as well.
We were supposed to be having a game of rounders in the park but it was rainy and wet so we decided just to head to the pub for a rounder drinks instead!
We went to Head of Steam and found 2 Shuffleboards where we had a tournament with Bryony and Jitheesh winning their rounds but Bryony taking the final win...Well done Bryony!
Some of the boys played darts & pool. It was great catching up over a drink, thanks all & see you for the next installment.

Tonight 13 of us ran from Heart down to Left Bank (after a little detour from Katie)!
The staff asked us to sand down and paint benches with pink & red stripes. We got to work and the benches looked great; the staff are going to gloss them tomorrow to finish them off.
Afterwards, Left Bank kindly gave us a drink each as a thank you, which were gratefully received.
Welcome to Irene who joined us for her first session tonight.
Well done to Adam on his 20th good deed tonight & Bryony for her 10th!
It was a great evening, thanks all :)

Today we headed towards York to go to the beautiful Pool Bridge Farm for some wild swimming. Helen Noyes was the first one in and away, followed by Helen Steel and myself, with Uzair working his way up to getting into the cold water. The lake was 15 degrees but as soon as we were in and swimming, we soon warmed up. Both Helen's and I swam for just over 30 minutes, whilst Uzair kept to the shallow end where he could stand up...perfect spot for chatting to all the ladies as they entered the lake!! At one point, he disappeared and we thought he's either drowned or gatecrashed the sauna ...luckily it was the latter :)
All this followed by coffee and cake. A perfect Saturday afternoon. Thanks guys x

Tonight, 10 GoodGymers headed down to St Stephen's Church Hall to clear their garden. We haven't visited here since last summer and couldn't believe how overgrown it was again! We thought that we'd pulled all the weeds up from the roots last year, but unfortunately they were back in full force! As it was a big group, we got to work & cleared more or less all of the front garden. We'll be back in a few weeks to do the back garden.
Thanks to Helen for leading a warm down at the end.
Welcome to Leah & Ting who came for their first session tonight!
