Seven GoodGymers came together for a fun-filled evening at the Blind Centre, diving into an exciting game of showdown! We all took turns challenging each other, and to wrap up, Chris and Claire gave us a masterclass in how it’s done.
A huge good luck to Claire, who's heading to Poland in just two weeks to compete in a Showdown tournament!

Another visit to the carriers of hope , 7 awesome goodgymers made it to the task tonight.. What a banger of a night 💥. No fire works needed!
It was all hands to the pumps as a lot of things needed shifting , resorting and packing on the shelves. All ready to be sent out for people when needed.
Lil , Laura , Lucy were sorting the bedding sheets , quilts and duvets. Also shredding all the old documents. Georgia was sorting out the cutlery and helping the guys. Nigel Chris and me had to reorganise the electrical shelf and make some room for everything to fit 🤞 Nigel was excellent at making space and fitting everything in tidily. !! Great to see Bose again and meet Steph ! All jobs completed on time and a good job done by all 🙌 !!

Equipped with litterpickers and giant blue bin bags, five Goodgymers made their way to two different green spaces in Coventry City Centre for a litter pick.
After a good warm up with some good (morning) evenings, we ran around a mile to Humber road green space to litter pick the perimeter of the park. This route is busy with walkers, runners and cyclists and was fairly litter-free except for some batches (rolls/barms/baps/cobs and all other variations) . We then crossed the road to pick around Gosford Green, which is a popular area for local people to socialise or play sports on a sunny day. We managed to fill three bags with rubbish, and even had time to fit in Laura's version of some Kenyan Hill reps to get the HR up. Well done all!

A wet and windy start to the month, didn't stop 6 Goodgymers making there way to the carriers of hope ! .
Bose and Michelle the from carriers of hope went to great efforts to get everyone in after the gates had been locked with the keys inside !! A potential disaster was averted🙌 phew !
Once we were all in it was a crate evening all round 🤣 ! Helping to move and unload the crates and sort out clothes for the adults that are helped by the Carriers of hope ! It was crate to see Chris there again and Lucy visiting for the first time ! We had to unload and unstack all the crates to find the correct clothes . And sort and separate all the clothes from the bedding and reload and stack everything back. A good workout to be fair , and another task completed! Always a pleasure to see Michelle and Bose and look forward to visiting them again next month !!
