A great morning at the Felix project, showing some of the newer volunteers the ropes, sorting new deliveries by use by/best before dates and getting a bit of packing done! In the afternoon I had a great first trip out on delivery- unpacking the van on the other end without the fork lifts was a real challenge but amazing to see where the food from the warehouse goes and what an important difference it makes! As always, a tasty lunch to top it off!

Having first tried out being co-driver, today’s session was in the kitchen with the team working to prep and pack nutritious meals made from the food donated to Felix. Brilliant to see the back-end of the operation after having experienced the frontline last time. Will be back for more and share the word far and wide.
