Five GoodGymers ran, walked and cycled to Dunston to deliver some leaflets to promote Dunston Fair. It was a very pleasant Monday evening with some glorious views across the River Tyne.

We zigzagged around the slightly unusual street layout, an area we have delivered leaflets in several times before. It was a successful evening, with lots of steps accumulated, but there are many more leaflets to deliver. We'll be back next week for more of the same, please join us if you can!

On a pleasant Saturday afternoon in Cowgate, we visited Greenhill Allotments, a place we have been many times in the past. The task today was to clear the overgrown area around the border, near the fence.

We transported several wheelbarrows full of weeds and waste to the skip. The skip was looking rather full, so we also filled several large bags. The area was looking much better when we had finished.

Louise managed to find a dislocated knee joint in the undergrowth, thankfully too small to be human. Meanwhile Scott retrieved quite a large amount of broken glass. You never know what you will find in the long grass!
