Meanwhile at Westminster due to a late cancellation we headed down to our dear friend Andrew at Rhythms of Life to help him sort through some clothes for rough sleepers and tidy up an area that is currently being used to store food which is also handed out to rough sleepers.
We met at 615 of Regents Street and as usual by 630 our briefing was done and dusted and we set off in search of a quiet stretch of road in this ridiculous heat.
Weaving in and out of jolly pub goers and sun searchers we hit a nice rhythm on the back streets only stopping for red lights and traffic jams.
We arrived safely and greeted the ever cheerful Andrew with the simple message, "WE are only here for half an hour Andrew" lol. He laughed, gave us a tour of the building and told us what needed to be done.
Move clothes from A-B, move food from A-B and the fun part clean all floors everywhere so thats exactly what we did.
Half an hour later the place smelt like an alpine forest and everything was where it should have been.
He waved us, we did some amazing calf burning activation drills a few sprints in the now beautiful rain and headed back to base just in time for tea. A few stretches and we were out.
Thanks to everyone who came out to play, hopefully see you all next week...

Peter Llewellyn has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Peter is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

11 Goodgymers braved the heat to run 4 km to Oasis Sport Centre to help out with the Green Gym project.
Due to central London resembling a tropical urban jungle there was a slight change in task and after a nice little warm up we headed through the back streets of Oxford Street and towards Oasis Sports Centre.
There were several new comers on the evening, a group of friends who team their get togethers with doing charity work of some sort…legends! The catch being that the event was a surprise to all but one so not all participants were as fully prepared as they would like to be…grey cotton tshirts and sweaty London running is maybe not the ideal attire but it all added to the fun! Big shout out to you guys!
We arrived speedily to our destination where we set to work around a glorious outdoor pool, which many people were making use of. Cory was hoping to do a running bomb into the pool to cool off but alas, it was just too full!
The work started watering the very thirsty plants, sweeping, tidying and weeding…everyone set to work and did an excellent job despite the heat!
On the way back I believe it was Coris who said he would like to run a little further, so we stopped for a few partner sprints around Bedford Square (thanks Coris). The competition was on and lungs were burning! Everyone put in a strong effort and before we knew it we were back to the start line after another great run!!
