Camden Report written by Alex Murtough (he/him)
7 GoodGymers braved the WINTER chill to make a difference in Camden!
It didn't feel like spring is just around the corner last night... because of... the cold... and the rain... and the smiles that sometimes look like grimaces when the wind shoots through!
Not that that stopped this lovely group of good deeding heroes!
Ariane, Danny, Imogen, Steve, Theo (new to the Camden group โ welcome!), and Thierry (new to GoodGym โ welcome!) must have been the hardest working group in Camden last night!
Amidst 'the weather' (!) they started out by moving an enormous pile of choc-full bin liners, emptying two crates, and sorting through an assortment of wood and metal ๐ช
And they then turned their magical clearing hands to a greenhouse, removing everything in the most orderly and quick manner I have ever witnessed โค๏ธ
Before they finally got everything ready for our return visit (SOON!) when we will lift the greenhouse, walk the greenhouse, and deposit the greenhouse in a more permanent home โบ๏ธ
Thank you, everyone!

Barnet Report written by Paul Salman
On a crisp winter evening, GoodGym Barnet met at the Phoenix Cinema before a sociable 2km run to the local gem that is Stephens House & Gardens โ the beautiful 1870s Italianate house set within its much-loved pocket park.
Our task was to polish the houseโs unique original pine staircase, crafted from timber believed to be over 300 years old. Armed with beeswax and cloths, we spread ourselves along the steps, carefully feeding the wood and bringing it back to life. It was warm, satisfying work โ and a meaningful way to help reduce maintenance costs for the charity. Mel p advised us how to work with beeswax and cloths.
Some runners joined us at the house, and we were very kindly rewarded with tea and coffee before heading back to the Phoenix.
Stephens House is a real Barnet treasure, hosting everything from Sunday lunches and seasonal fairs to exhibitions and summer theatre. Do support them โ whether by volunteering, attending events or visiting the cafรฉ.
Huge congratulations to Subham on his 50th good deed ๐ and Gavin on his first GoodGym run. Give him a cheer.. Great to see Scarlett, and lovely to welcome visitors Theo and Peter Hale.
Thanks to everyone who came along to support this fantastic park and house!

Hammersmith and Fulham Report written by Jalal El Farmawi
We helped sort and organise food donations, putting tins and supplies into the correct storage areas so everything is easy to access for the next session. After that, we worked together to reset the church hall by stacking chairs and returning the space to its original layout. It was a smooth and efficient session, with great teamwork and a positive atmosphere. It felt rewarding to support the foodbank and help keep things running well for the community.
