9 GoodGymers braved the cold weather (and some rain) to help at St Alban Church Hall.

We've done a few visits over the last year or so and have really made a difference in helping them to make the Church and Church Hall more community friendly.

Tonight's task was to paint an outside breeze block wall black to give it a modern touch.

Luckily the vicar and his lovely wife and set up a little camp fire to give off some heat, which was perfectly positioned so I could stay close to it and oversee the task at the same time haha.

A job well done and we'll be back soon to finish the wall painting.

Well done to Alina for completing 10 good deeds.

This task supported
Sanctuary garden lavender planting
Weeding a flower bed and planting 20 lavcendar plants

At the Sanctuary we have a community cafe which is open midweek and occasionally at weekends for events. The garden is well used by local people and it needs a bit of TLC. I have bought some lavender to spruce up the flower bed, and it is also in need of some weeding.
