On a bright and sunny day, but a bit CHILLI 🌶 we joined up with the crew at springboard allotment. The chilli plants were harvested and trimmed down an re-potted for winter hibernation....I've taken one home 🏡 so stay posted on its well being Tomato and courgettes were picked as well as the remaining apples from the tree 🌳 The compost bins are coming on nicely with the additional rain 🌧 of late. The plastic greenhouse was emptied in readiness for it's dismantling in the future. We had time for a cuppa, cakes, biscuits 😋 and a lovely chat with plenty of laughter too. Food was donated to coffee tots cafe at the wave, and has been made into delicious pakoras, and a tasty curry mix to be stuffed into baby courgettes and a tasty wrap 😋.
