The Lighthouse crew had a great time during our second volunteering gig with the Borough Food Co-op, giving them a hand in restocking shelves for their Tuesday food hub.
Our team, used to the fast-paced world of live production events, efficiently tackled each task. Teaming up, we swiftly unpacked donations, restocked bulk dry goods, arranged shelves, wrapped and labeled foods, and cleaned the fridges. Starting the workday by contributing to the local community felt incredibly rewarding!

The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
