It was our first trip up to St Catherine’s at the top of Telegraph Hill. The task was moving some large pieces of Kentish Ragstone from a crumbling wall at the front of the church. We were greeted by Father Stanley who had large array of wheelbarrows to help us shift the stones round to the back of the church. It was one of the most physically demanding group runs that we have done for a while, but made short shrift of the rock pile. We had a break for a Kit Kat, other snacks were available, before heading back to Glass Mill. I’m sure we’ll be back to St Catherine’s soon.
