The mission to take the lovely Ms L's washing to the laundrette is a simple one - walk past the laundrette to her flat, have a chat about how life has been in the three weeks since we last saw each other, walk back to the laundrette with the washing (unleashing my inner Daniel Day Lewis), give it to the laundrette manager (who looks nothing like Omar from the film) , take a receipt which usually says 'service wash Paul' and go back home. There was an added element today, putting together a mop a friend had left for Ms L which she had been unable - after a lot of fiddling we managed it get the cloth bit attached to the handle.
