7 humans and 6 dogs from Bournemouth Canicross ran 5 miles to drop much needed donations to Poole Food bank. It was a beautiful sunny run along Poole Harbour so the dogs decided they needed a quick dip in the sea on route. The humans probably would have appreciated one too with the extra weight they were carrying in their backpacks!

There was a warm welcome at the food bank with drinks for all, and treats and cuddles for the dogs while the humans unpacked the donations. The dogs said they’ll definitely come again! After everything was unpacked and the humans had caught their breath they all went on their way again, finishing the mission with a lap of Poole park and some delicious cake from a local cafe.
