After a day of downpours, 13 excellent GoodGymmers braved the outdoors for a gardening session at Myatts. Just as the forecast had predicted, the rain slowed to a drizzle and there were moments when it wasn't raining at all. Win!

We were greeted by Tony and Taye who provided a very thorough health and safety briefing before giving us some equipment and basic instructions about what is and isn't a weed. We got down to work, weeding two areas near the bandstand. There were a few further discussions on distinguishing weeds and non-weeds until someone spotted some bindweed and we could all agree that that's definitely a pesky weed.

An hour flew by and Tony and Taye were thrilled with the progress we'd made. We'll be back for more next week so do sign up and we'll see you there!
