Five GoodGym volunteers braved the wind and the rain to help clear up Desborough Park after a community football tournament and festival. Armed with litterpickers and bin bags we picked up all the litter from around the pitches and the food area. Debris included a bag of socks (later claimed by our host), inside-out umbrellas and 50p. On our way round we admired the wildflower areas which Goodgym had helped create. After throwing the bags into the large wheelie bins we then pushed them up to the top of the park, ready for collection. Many hands made light work, and the park was restored to its former self.
