Report written by Caireen McGinn
The rain of the last 24 hours did not put off 7 plucky volunteers who arrived at the Wilderness just as the rain stopped and the sun 'almost' made an appearance...this meant that conditions were perfect for digging out bramble roots, if a 'little' muddy. After welcoming first timer Alice, we made our way over to the orchard area to continue the clearing, raking and digging. Felicity was so enthusiastic about this that she bent her fork completely out of shape...and that wasn't the only thing that was bent...(!)as Oli's epic battle continued with the never-ending pipeline. He even fashioned a length of it into the letter G - on brand as always, Oli! He'll be spelling the whole alphabet soon - there is enough of the stuff lying around... See you next time!
