Last night 13 runners brave the treacherous raining conditions and came along to our group run. Luckily for us by the time we were ready to set off for the task the rain had stopped. Our task was at Tunstall Nursery School, just 1.5km away from our start location. When we arrived we were met by Jane, she explained that she had two main things to be done
Sweeping and tidy up the inside of the nursery and surrounding area
Digging a trench along the fence for the fruit trees to be replanted from the pots which would also free up the space at the side of the building. The trees would grow through the fence and the children would be able to pick the fruits once they are in season trough the fence.
Nicola, Ian, Martin and Ingrid opted for the gardening side of the task while Sarah led the others inside the nursery to sweep and tidy up.
Thankfully to the rain that had fallen earlier the ground was soften up for our trench diggers.
Wacky Racers
With the tasks finished and a bit of time to spare Sarah, Nicola and Stephanie had a mini grand prix on the scooters.
For our fitness session we headed out to do our Tunstall Loop, congratulations to Louisa who sped around the loop in under 2 minutes, for anyone wishing to try the loop we will be going back on 5th November, fancy giving Louisa a run for her money? Or do you think you can claim the segment?
