And the award for bad photography goes to... me... 😔

But what a wonderful way to start off the brand new GoodGym Mottingham journey ✨ with a trio of weeders making a difference in one of the many amazing community spaces Mottingham has to offer.

Geffrey's Hall Community Centre is a local community hub, but it's garden area was looking a little unloved. But not for long! We'll be heading back on a regular basis to bring some life back to it.

Tonight we did some simple weeding around the entrance:

💪 Pulling back a grass carpet which covered some of the paving slabs

🌱 Emptying some HUGE pots of little and large weeds

🕷 Watching out for webs and stinging nettles...

🍂 And making a big pile of everything we removed which will go on the compost heap

It was great to meet Richard for his first ever GoodGym task 👍 especially with his enthusiasm to get stuck in and gardening knowledge!

This is the start of many more sessions in Mottingham. Keep an eye out on all upcoming events here.
