Maintaining the allotment in good condition ensures it's a great space for the local community to enjoy - many of whom don't have their own gardens or growing spaces.

Who this task will support
Fox Den Community Allotment
We support those most at-risk through targeted community projects, provision of general anti-poverty support such as community food provision, supporting access to education and employment, projects to improve the environment, and by developing a culture of volunteering in the community. The Fox Den Allotment is one of our greenspaces we manage with the local community.

We're joining forces with Cambridge for a morning of good deeds, movement, and social time.

Come along to meet fellow GoodGymers and help keep the allotment at its best. We will be harvesting, weeding and watering plants, as well as helping with special projects in the Forest Garden.

All equipment will be provided. Please bring water and wear appropriate clothing for the task and the weather.

📌We will meet at the task (behind Cambridge United Football Ground). The allotments are gated, so we will meet at the gate. There is space to store bikes inside the allotment space and a safe space for belongings.

👟Optional run from Cambridge North Station at 11:15. Once registered for the task, sign up separately here. It is a social run and everyone is welcome with the pace adapted to suit the group.

🍕We'll head to the Engineer's House afterwards for pizza. All welcome for this too, even if not able to join the task.

💛 If it is your first time coming to GoodGym you are very welcome here - our friendly GoodGymers will be waiting to say hi!

📣We recommend getting the 9.45am train from London Liverpool Street to Cambridge North, arriving at 11.15am.
