Cracking the Whips - Planting for Biodiversity @ Brockwell Park
Improve biodiversity in the park
Location
Brockwell ParkLondon
SE24 0PA
Date and time
11:00 - 12:00Laura from the Friends of Brockwell Park has been in touch and along with Lambeth Council they are looking for volunteers to help out in the park.
The team are continuing the planting in our new biodiversity area and would be delighted if you would like to join us for an hour. We think up to 10 would be a good number. The timing is 11 - 1.30 and this time it will be whips (very young trees/bushes) to form hedgerow stretches on part of the perimeter and possibly bulbs.
Gloves, tools, plants will be provided - but please bring your own food and drink. Location: From Brixton Water Lane entrance: short uphill; first left towards the Lido and you’ll see the mounds on the right. From Dulwich Road Lido entrance: turn right after the Lido and walk along the path until you see the mounds on the left. or use what3words code: region.liver.hotels
