What a session, Lambeth! ๐ช๐ผ
We linked back up with Tom from Lambeth Council to give Windrush Square and the area around Brixton Library some serious TLC โ sweeping, weeding, and tidying our way to a cleaner, greener corner of Brixton. Turns out you can build glutes and community spirit at the same time. Who knew?
On the tools tonight:
Ben
Michael
Katie
Tilly
Jo
Dan
Big love to this crew for trading their evening jog for a broom and a bin bag โ proof that GoodGym really is where "leg day" meets "litter day" ๐พ๐ฅฐ
Windrush Square is looking sharper than our running form, and Brixton Library's front bed is finally weed-free (unlike our group chat, which remains a mess (jokes!)). ๐ฑ๐คฉ
Same time next week, legends? See you on the streets โ bring trainers, bring gloves, leave your excuses at home. ๐โ๏ธ๐งก

What an absolute cracker of an evening, Lambeth! ๐ช๐ผ
Tonightโs task force assembled in style: Katie, Ben, Jo, Fi, Nicole and yours truly, AA Yianny, hit the streets โ and because it was our monthly social, we got extra reinforcements in Adam, Michael and Tilly. Bigger squad, bigger impact! ๐พ
We went full GG classic tonight with a Litter Pick Bingo โ and Lambeth did NOT disappoint. We picked, we sorted, we scratched our heads at some genuinely bizarre finds (we wonโt ask, we donโt want to know ๐ฑ), and left the streets looking significantly more sparkly than we found them. Full house on the bingo card, several question marks on the mystery items. A+ prep for game night, if we do say so ourselves. โค๏ธ
But the real headline tonight: Katie hit 200 tasks for GoodGym. 200! ๐ฅฐ Task Force superhero, social media guru, and general ray of sunshine โ Katie, we are so unbelievably proud of you. Thatโs not a milestone, thatโs a monument. Take a bow. ๐
Then it was straight into the social โ baked goods, pizza, laughs, the occasional happy tear, and a room full of the loveliest weirdos Lambeth has to offer (said with maximum affection). ๐คฉ
Great pick, great people, great cake. See you next week, legends! ๐๐

GoodGym Lambeth Run Report ๐โโ๏ธ๐จ Four the Love of the Planet! ๐
Well, well, wellโฆ what do we have here? Not ONE, not TWO, not THREE, but FOUR shiny new faces joining the GoodGym Lambeth crew this week! ๐
Thatโs right โ we didnโt just pick up litter, we picked up people too. Welcome to the fold, Treena, Paul, Dann & Kirsty, who clearly decided that finishing a long shift at work just wasnโt quite enough suffering for one day. Respect. ๐ช๐ผ๐พ
The Task: Not a Twozy. Not Even a Threezyโฆ Wait, Actually Yes a Threezy. ๐๏ธ This weekโs mission was an absolute trash of a good time (in the best possible way).
We went full triple-threat with: ๐บ๏ธ GoodGym classic litter picking ๐ Planet Patrol ๐งด The Big Plastic Count The goal? Grab as much recycling and plastic as humanly possible and give our community a well-deserved glow-up. And boy, did we deliver.
Several black bags filled to the brim and safely recycled โ thatโs not just good deeds, thatโs re-MARK-able work. You could say we really bagged this one. ๐ฑ๐คฉ
The planet is cleaner, our legs are tired, and our hearts are full. See you next week โ and Treena, Paul, Dann & Kirsty, youโve got no excuses now. You already know weโre worth the post-work schlep! ๐โค๏ธ
Keep running. Keep doing good. Try not to step in anything suspicious. ๐ซกโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Last week was so pine that we decided to spruce up our schedule and do it all over again! Welcome to our second group session of 2026, and honestly this is one of our absolute favourite missions of the year.
Mother Nature clearly wanted to separate the saplings from the mighty oaks, serving up some properly dark and stormy weather. Our turnout was trimmed down to the hardcore trio of tree-rescuing legends: Tilly, Ben & AA Yianny ๐ค
These three werenโt going to let a little wind and rain leaf them at home!
We raced around Clapham on our Christmas tree treasure hunt, seeking out the poor abandoned pines whoโd been cast out post-festivities. Seems like some people really struggle with the grief of de-tree-ment - we found MORE trees piled up than last week! ๐
Clearly the โNew Year, New Meโ crowd forgot that applies to their living rooms too.
By the end of our festive cardio session, weโd successfully relocated:
All trees and timber are now safely on their way to be composted by the council. From tinsel to topsoil - the circle of life continues! ๐ฒโป๏ธ
Wood we do it again? Absolutely! Until next time, stay evergreen, GoodGym! ๐
Remember: Tis the season to be jollyโฆ and to recycle responsibly! ๐พโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Where: Max Roach Park (where the bugs roam free, but the bottle tops donโt!)
What: Community clean-up with a side of cardio
We were cap-tivated to be back at Max Roach Park this week, answering the call from Tom at Lambeth Council for another epic bottle top crack down! Because apparently, bottle tops are like glitter โ they get EVERYWHERE and refuse to leave the party. ๐พโจ
Tonight we had the fantastic four: Dan, Adam, Michael, and Ben absolutely crushing it (or should we say, trowel-ing it?). Thanks so much for turning up, guys โ you really are the tops! ๐ค
Tom rolled out the red carpetโฆ well, actually he rolled out the trowels, dustpans, brushes, black bags, and high vis vests โ basically the Lamborghini of cleaning equipment. We felt VERY fancy. ๐ฅณ
Our mission: tackle the areas around the bins (because apparently thatโs where all the party fouls happen). We collected:
In devastating news, we completely binned our sweetie treat tradition tonight. We forgot them! But fear not โ this means DOUBLE treats next time! ๐๐ฌ๐ซ
Your teeth have been warned. Your taste buds should be excited.
Until next time, keep running, keep doing good, and remember: weโre not just picking up rubbish but getting our fitness on as well so for another week โ weโve bin there, done that! ๐๏ธโค๏ธโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

๐โโ๏ธ GOODGYM LAMBETH RUN REPORT ๐โโ๏ธ
Mission: Operation Windrush Sweep! ๐งนโจ
This week our legendary crew tackled the rubbish problem at Windrush Square (see what we did there? ๐). Armed with trowels, dustpans, black bags, and one trusty broom, we went full CSI: Litter Squad to give the square the deep clean it deserved!
The Highlight Reel: ๐
๐ The Return of the Legend! After a 5-year hiatus (we're not saying he was having a long nap), Harry made his triumphant comeback! We were so excited we almost threw confetti... but then remembered we'd just have to pick it up again. Welcome back, Harry! ๐ป
๐ฆธโโ๏ธ Our Core Crew of Champions: Fi, Dan, Tilly, and Michael (aka the Treat Master ๐ง) showed up ready to sweep the competition. You absolute legends knocked it out of the park (and the litter out of the grass)!
We popped bottle tops, nabbed broken glass with military precision, and generally showed that litter who's boss. Tom from Lambeth Council sends his thanks โ the square is looking rubbish-free and gorgeous!
Pun Score: 10/10 would pick again! ๐ฏ
Same time next week? Let's keep the good times rolling and Lambeth cleaning! ๐
