Cambridgeshire Child and Family Centres
Child and Family Centres are welcoming spaces where families can access a wide range of support. We have lots of fun things to do for families with children from birth to age 19. Our centres offer groups, events, activities, and courses.

The first of a series of sessions helping Child and Family Centres across Cambridge improve their gardens and green spaces for enjoyment by community groups.

We'll be digging, weeding, and generally giving green spaces some love, so that they can be enjoyed by the community. Please bring gloves and, if you are able, small gardening tools.

📌

  • For the group run: Meet at Parkside Pools at 5:30pm. The run is 3km each way and will be taken at a steady pace to suit the group.

  • For the task: Meet outside the entrance to The Fields Child and Family Centre at 6pm. The Fields Child and Family Centre, 9 Galfrid Rd, Cambridge, CB5 8ND. map. w3w: plants.props.pushed

There is plenty of bike (and car) parking. The centre is located past the school, so keep going until you reach the main car park and bike sheds (see photo).

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Options are available to run between 6km and 6km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
