GoodGym x Friday Night Lights: carry some speakers and plant some trees
Join GoodGym for a totally different session
Location

Date and time
10:00 - 11:50On Saturday 8th March GoodGym will be hosting a special session in partnership with Friday Night Lights, organisers of unique running events with good music and good vibes.
As they put it themselves:
"Running, music, and an unforgettable experience in the heart of London! Get your shoes laced up, get yourself down and become part of the most electrifying running community with an extraordinary fusion of running, music, and celebration!"
GoodGym is hosting this sessions for FNL and it needs a few, experienced TaskForce members to come along and support the fun. The roles will include:
- Carrying (lightweight) backpack speakers as we gently run to the task
- Explaining GoodGym to people on the session
- Motivating people as they complete the task
- Keep an eye on everyone's safety
The session will involved a 5km run from London Bridge to a brand new task by the Tower of London - a huge new community garden in a Grade 1 listed historical grounds. We will be setting up and planting one of the most significant new pieces of London green space.
We'll be meeting at 10am near London Bridge Station and will be wrapped up by 11.50am.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Date and time
10:00 - 11:50Options are available to run between 5km and 5km in total
Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.

I’m not task force, but will be there. Happy to help out where needed.
I signed up to the event via the FNL website, so will be heading to their meet point in Dirty Lane after Burgess parkrun
