Help support a community garden

Date and time
18:30 - 20:30For this session it's our group run night and we are off to Alberta Estate Communal Gardens where they have a dappled shade garden that needs attention. The ivy wants cutting back and cleared from the ground, and some of the nearby tree branches could do with cutting back.
New to GoodGym Southwark?
It can be daunting coming to your first group run but we are a nice welcoming bunch! All abilities welcome, whether you're a new runner or have been running for years.
Important Information
We meet at Old Spike Cafe in Peckham from 18:30 for a 18:45 start. You can leave bags in the cafe and use their toilets before we head out if you need to. If meeting at the task, be there for 19:15. Address is the Fruit Commons tool shed on Berryfield Road, London, SE17 3QE (what3words location items.single.using).
After a warm-up, we run together as a group. If there are loads of us, there will be a back marker to ensure no one is left behind. On this run, we will be running 4.4km to Alberta Estate Communal Gardens (aiming to get to the task in 30 minutes). We will spend 35-40 minutes doing the task then run 4.4km back to Peckham (back by 20:30 latest).
Bring gardening gloves if you have them.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
