🌳 Community Mission: Back to Hackney Marsh Adventure Playground!
We’re heading back to one of our favourite spots for another session supporting this brilliant play space.
The exact task is to be confirmed (you can see what we got up to on previous visits here), but you can count on a friendly welcome, a rewarding workout, and a chance to help keep things thriving for local children. New faces are very welcome, and no experience is needed — all equipment and clear instructions will be provided on the night. If you have a headtorch, it’s handy to bring one along, though not essential.
🏃♀️ Two ways to join in:
Group Run: Meet at the Aquatics Centre for a fun, sociable run to the task — we’ll set off together at 6:50pm and get warmed up en route.
Meet at the Task: Head straight to the playground and meet us there at 7:10 pm.
Expect a mix of physical work such as digging or wheelbarrowing, teamwork, not to mention a few laughs — plus that satisfying feeling of having made a visible difference by the end of the evening.

Sorry to cancel our Adventure Playground session at short notice. Ange, our host, has let us know that builders on site today have identified a safety issue. As a result, the site is not safe for visitors while a structural engineer investigates and any necessary works (including removal of rotten poles) are carried out.
We’ll reschedule in a few weeks once it’s confirmed safe again.
